Rick Trawinski, from Detroit Sportsmen’s Congress, proposed that MSA recognize a “Club of the Year”. The Board of Directors felt the most objective measure would be the greatest increase in registered targets from one year to the next, since we want to promote more registered shooting. The Board approved the following guidelines for awarding the MSA Club of the Year:
The 2011 MSA Club of the year is Kent County Conservation League with a 189.91% increase. The 2nd place finisher was Saginaw Gun Club with a 52.16% increase; and in 3rd place, Grayling Sportsmen’s Club with a 51.94% increase. The award for the CLub of the Year will be presented at the 2012 State Shoot. Congratulations to everyone!
